Let’s discuss Cookbooks
Cookbooks are comparable to other books in that they are meticulously written and detailed by the author or collaborative group of authors. Hundreds, if not thousands, of hours are invested in testing recipes repeatedly until the author achieves perfection. Both the author and publishing company generate revenue from initial book sales. However, no royalties are paid to the author when the book is resold through thrift shops or secondhand booksellers.
I'd like to state that if I'm using a recipe from a cookbook I've purchased or received, I won't share it.
