X-rays, fashion accessories and going slow

I’ll be sporting my latest “Fashion Accessory” for the next few weeks.

My arm has been poked, prodded, twisted, flexed, squeezed and yes I’ve had numerous x-rays on an icy cold table.

The skinny is that it’s not broken BUT I did one hell of a ratchet job on the muscles, tendons and joints. Bone bruising is real and it hurts like a break, sometimes more.

And anyone who has had this type of injury knows how soft tissue damage can take as long or longer to heal than a broken bone.

I have a follow up appointment with an orthopedic surgeon.

You all know that this is going to be challenging since I’m a full throttle go go go person and “taking it easy” isn’t part of my normal vocabulary.
