Granny Squares

Have you ever looked at something and said “oh” like an exclamation? That was me yesterday. I had set out to make just the 1 granny square to test drive the pattern and boom the next thing I knew I was cutting out and piecing 2 more granny squares!

Now I had to dig around through my box of mini squares and luckily I found more of those elusive pink scraps that I’d cut into squares for my first block. Then I found more of that same pink fabric in the way of a 2.5 inch wide strip I’d cut and had in my 2.5 inch strip box. Yup, the Sewing Angels were most certainly watching over me yesterday.
