Bobbin Winding Day

I do certain activities like bobbin winding only when I am about to run out. I was on my last bobbin of white thread and I have zero beige thread bobbins and I was done to 1.5 black thread bobbins. So today is bobbin winding day!

No matter the brand of your particular sewing machine, I can’t stress enough the importance of using the right bobbins for your machine! Don’t buy knockoff brands!

While I own and use my 3 modern Janome sewing machines on a regular basis I use Janome brand bobbins for them and lucky for me they use the same size bobbin.

Now my 3 vintage Singer sewing machines are all from different eras and are different designs and no, they don’t take the same size bobbins.

Again- be sure you’re using the right size bobbins for your machine!
