My life changing moment

When you think of life changing events you don’t think about a global pandemic, lockdowns and 61 million (and counting) deaths.

I didn’t know it at the time, but this embroidery machine changed my life. It helped me to be more creative when it came to creating unique things for my home and making gifts. It didn’t just kickstart my creative drive, lit it on fire. I’ve got ideas for new projects constantly and I’m always making something and sending my creations out into the world to bring smiles to my girlfriends

We didn’t know that a global pandemic was coming, heck we didn’t realize that 4 years later it would still be going on and people are still dying from it. But I digress- when we were all scared to death and couldn’t leave our homes and businesses were forced to close their doors, I had this machine to get to know. I truly learned more about myself and the creative process. While I was fine being alone, I also needed human interaction with other creative peoples. I’ve made many friends in machine embroidery, sewing and quilting groups on line and in person these last few years. We continue to encourag one another to try new things.

Inspiration is everywhere, especially here on the internet, with the friends I’ve made with this crazy crafty journey I’ll continue to share my crafty endeavors and to encourage others to try new things
